Mishmash By Design

I refused to pay more to the shipping company than the artist for our wedding cake toppers, so I decided to make my own. I have been crafting ever since. There is such a variety of neat crafts out there, I can't limit myself to one form so I go where the craft wind blows and explore the options. My love of doing a bunch of random things is what spurred the name Mishmash by Design. What makes my business unique is that I enjoy bright colors, fun patterns, and experimenting. Uniquely turning ideas into something amazing is exciting for me. I like helping people be brave and bring out their unique style.

How I Branched into Making Bags!
Having to rummage through all my stuff while looking for one item in an open void got really frustrating. Add to that losing belongings out of holes in a cheap bag, I couldn't handle it anymore so I made my own bag. The end result was a strong, gorgeous bag sporting a black iridescent outside, neon popsicles on the inside with multiple pockets to keep me organized and show my spunky personality.

Hello my lovelies! My name is Beth, I am the creator behind Mishmash by Design. I am a crafter, dancer, nurse, wife, and dog mom. I've visited several countries and had the fantastic experience of living in another country and many different states. Originally from Michigan, I worked as a travel nurse for a few years following the sun until I decided to call Louisiana home. I learned how to sew from my aunt by recovering couches and chairs in her upholstery business, while going to college.
